The love of reading

I was looking back over some older pictures today and thinking about how some of my kids have loved doing things since they were young and still love doing those same things today.
I came across this picture of Nathan.
I just love it.
I had sent Nathan to have some 'timeout' in the laundry to calm down and when I went in to tell him his time was up I found him happily sitting in the wash basket reading. Nathan has always loved to read, he taught himself to read before he went to school and still loves to have his head in a book.
I love that he finds joy in books. I find great joy in them too.
I love it when we read the same book and have a great conversation about it.
