This time they called me to say that Nathan had a head injury.
I start freaking out immediately, on the inside, and my mind began planning: who the heck am I going to get to babysit the other kids, what do I need to quickly grab and have I already got dinner made.
Well, it turned out to be bad, but not that bad.
Nathan had ran into another boy at sports practice and given himself a large bump on his head.
(He was not to happy that I wanted to take pictures...thanks Nathan!)
When I went into the school with the three little one's in tow, there was great excitement to find out what was wrong with Nathan. As we entered the sick room, I took one look at Nathan and said,
"Nathan, you have an egg on your head."
Liberty looked at me, then at Nathan, then shook her head and said,
"Ooooh! the EGG did it"
Catching on to Liberty's comment, Sam then said,
"No, Nathan ate an egg in his mouth and it went up to the top of his head."
Poor Nathan had to listen to these disagreements for a time before I actually got a chance to find out if he was really O.K It turned out that he just needed some rest and to watch some sport on T.V to feel better...have I mentioned I think this boy is handsome...even with an egg on his head!
ouch!!! Did he know the boy he rant into??? When I was in primary school I was running around the corner and my younger brother happened to also be running around the SAME corner in the opposite direction and we collided, I came out ok but gave him a massive egg on his eye....one of the only times that I was able to get the upper hand, and out of all the people in the school that I could have run into it was my younger brother!
ReplyDeleteLOVE THIS! - Not that Nathan got hurt, but the cute comments from Liberty and Sam:) I'm going to start blaming more things on the EGG, hehehehe:)
