cherub chatter and cake

Today Maxabella I am feeling grateful for:

Cherub chatter:

Oh! my! do my little cherubs love to chatter with each other. Some days it seems to go non stop!

When I take the time to stop and sit down to listen to them it just amazes me the amount of different topics they can cover in such a short time.

This week we have had conversations about rain, thunder, babies, poo, presents, Santa, swimming, chickens, Handy Manny, caterpillars, best friends, castles, Lazy Town, teeth, Tashi and lollies to name a few.

I love the facial expressions, the vocal expressions and hand expressions that go with these conversations. It is fascinating to watch and a blessing to listen to.

Cake:

One of the great things about having a large family is that I get to eat lots of cake!

For six months in a row I get to create and bake cakes and enjoy the delight of eating them.

I get to treasure the beaming smiles, the chubby cherub cheeks as they blow them out and the twinkle in their eyes as they stare at the candles alight on their cake.

I mean seriously! just look at that happy face!

Ahhh! the wonder of it all!

Just so you know this is my chubby half of the year...

  2. I don't think you're alone in having this as your chubby half of the year, although with all of those birthdays you do have some extra sugary challenges!

I hope that you have a lovely weekend and the first week of the holidays is looking fabulous!

  26. I too LOVE the chatter. I love sneaking up on my kids and listening when they can't see me. I love the little stories they come up with during imaginative play! I especially love that when my boys do it they speak with an American accent. hahaha. we assume it's from the kids movies we watch because we are not American :)

And your chubby half of the year comment, so funny! Gorgeous pics and gorgeous cherubs!
