I have been thinking about my blog a lot lately!
Probably too much.
I guess, I am trying to work out clearly in my mind:
What is Seven Cherubs all about?
To me is is about:
Motherhood.
Happiness.
Cherubs.
It is about connecting mothers through their hearts and it is for women who are passionate about motherhood and want to encourage each other in a positive way.
I think my blog is great and think all mothers should be checking it out {hee, hee} but, I wanted to find out from you lovely readers who delight my day by dropping by my blog:
What is Seven cherubs all about to you?
I just started reading your blog but I agree that its about all of those things!! :)
ReplyDeleteTo me it is about the idea of family, growing, learning and interacting. That is what I have observed as the posts that I can relate to most are about these things!
ReplyDeleteThank you for inviting me to check out your blog! I can't wait to explore and get ideas! (from Mo Bloggers...)

I too have only just started reading, but I believe its about exploration! Exploring the world, new concepts, each other and learning from those experiences and each other.
ReplyDeleteI have loved reading so far and plan to continue reading. :)

ReplyDeletekeep up the good work:)

I recently started to follow your blog. It's sense of togetherness, joy and sheer love for family and the devotion you show for them that keeps me coming back, and it makes me really look up to you.
ReplyDeleteYour blog really is fantastic, keep up the great work!
Seven Cherubs is a warm place to come to be inspired & empowered as we {I} travel through the journey of Motherhood! I always find your posts uplifting & soul-warming!

I like that 7 Cherubs is a positive blog about families as a whole. Reminding readers about the whole picture as well as the snapshots of everyday life; to stop and enjoy those simple pleasures rather hurrying or wishing for a quieter time, space, etc. And that we can do no greater work than that within the walls of our homes.
ReplyDeleteSeven cherubs is about 'growing memories not grass'
ReplyDeleteThat pretty much sums it up - it's about reminding us what is important in this hurly burly of raising our kiddos...and not to get caught up in the 'keeping up with the joneses' mentality of child-raising.
And for reminding us mums that we are important too

thanks for your kind comments...it has been really helpful for me to stay focused on what I am doing and to keep me motivated to do more! Naomi x
ReplyDeleteNaomi, you offer so much in this lovely space you've created.
ReplyDeleteIn the time that I've been following I felt that I have learnt heaps, laughed, cried, been given a new perspective on various topics to try out and most of all felt like I was enjoying a great cup of tea with a wise friend.
Keep doing what you do best and that's to honestly share you life with us and the many insights that your reflections offer up. You are a treasure,
Felicity x
Felicity's summed it up beautifully, Naomi. Just keep on doing what you're doing (if you can keep up that pace, that is ☺). J x
ReplyDeletei am only new to your wonderful blog Naomi but I love your honesty & stories of your life .
ReplyDeleteLOVE that you picked up the kids as Santa by the way.
well done on creating such a wonderful place for us to hang out at!
♥
I found seven cherubs by accident and was drawn to the inspiration and encouragement it gave to me..and still does..I feel like I am striving to be a better mother because of you..thank you for giving me that..
ReplyDeleteI love reading about your family and the closeness you have...
I check in all the time now and feel I have found a kindred spirit in you xx

ReplyDeleteYour blog is my 'treat'. When I have some quiet time to myself, I make my special flavoured coffee, and I log in to see what you have been up to! I feel like I've been over for a cuppa and have left recharged, renewed and often motivated to do more than sit on my butt and do computer stuff. I figure if you can find time with 7 kids all active and full on, why on earth can't I get myself sorted out with one who still naps?!? I find a lot of your wisdom inspiring, I find your love and understanding of your family inspiring and I love that you are proud of your husband and the wonderful man that he is to you (I am so sick of people complaining about husbands grrr!)I must say I am often telling my husband all about what you had to say, or suggesting that perhaps we could try something different when so inspired. I don't have to explain who 'Naomi' is anymore - as soon as I tell him 'I had a cuppa with Naomi today and I was reading.....' he's on the same page.
I guess you're a household name at our place, and I really enjoy my visits. So, thank you so much for having me over - next time I'll bring you some biscuits or a hostess gift!
