After a few weeks of being slack I am back on the Battle of the Blogger Butt Challenge.
This week I was determined to smash that number 70. I know I have said that before and I have tried to get past it physically and mentally but this week I had really had enough. I made some more drastic changes and was determined to stay focused.
I don't know what it is with 70kg but my body and mind just seems to want to stay there.
It is comfortable and happy with that weight. I however am not.
I still want to reach my goal of losing 5%.
This week it was time to pull out the 'Big Fat Woman Song'.
I remember listening to this song when I was growing up.
The song is really called:
Ain't Gonna Bump No More (With No Big Fat Woman) by Joe Tex.
The chorus goes:
I ain't gonna bump no more with no big fat woman
Except when I sing it I sing:
I don't want no more no big fat woman
Meaning: I use this song to motivate me to exercise and to be healthy.
I am talking about myself and not anyone else.
I do want to say I do not have a problem with larger women.
I love curvy women, I know many larger women who are my friends and are happy.
For me I want to be fitter and healthier and 5% slimmer.
The song is a classic. You can check out the song here:
Anyway. It made a difference.
I weighed myself this morning and guess what.
I took on that number 70 and I won! Just.
Last week I weighed 70.3 and this morning I weighed 69.9kg.
Woo hoo!!!!
It is a good weight loss.
Just as an update, I started at 71.9, went up to 72.2 and have finally gone back down under 70kg.
I am happy.
Downward from here I think.
Thanks for all your support.
It made a big difference.
