I was looking forward to being able to yell out, 'I think I can, I think I can!'. Sad but true!
The Little Engine That Could is an all-new feature length movie filled with fun and adventure! When Little Engine must leave Dreamland to deliver toys into the real world, she sets her fears aside and learns that with a little determination and courage, anything is possible.
The voices and cast include:
Whoopi Goldberg (Toy Story 3, Ghost)
Jamie Lee Curtis (Freaky Friday, True Lies)
Corbin Bleu (High School Musical Trilogy)
My cherubs enjoyed the movie. They loved the colour, the characters and story. It really is very well made and the animation is excellent. My older cherubs were even interested in what was happening throughout the movie and the only part that several of my cherubs did not enjoy was near the end when the Nightmare train enters the scene. Several of my children felt a little scared during this part but most of them were fine and enjoyed it.
The movie does have a lesson to be learned and lovely message for children. It encourages children to follow their dreams and to not give up. To stand up for what you believe in and to make it happen. It also addresses the issue of being bullied and picked on and I like the way they dealt with this issue.
The movie is being released in stores on June 29th and you can see more about the movie here.
