my jewellery storage for earrings

I am always on the lookout for great jewellery storage ideas that work and am finally happy with the earring jewellery storage I now have. It has taken me a while to source jewellery stands that I am happy with as I really love having my jewellery on display so I can easily see what I want to wear.

Some of you may know I have a small addiction to jewellery. Just a really, really small one....
If you follow me on Instagram you will know this to be true!

I found the first jewellery stand in Target for around $14 and the second one in Diva for $9. The one from Target is far more sturdy than the one from Diva. I have to put blue tac on the bottom of the Diva jewellery stand as it is so unstable but I love that on the other half of it you can also hang some necklaces...another small addiction that I have!

I have been working on organising my jewellery a little better and thought I would just share how I keep my earrings neat and organised. My girls have most of the other earrings I am currently not wearing and I am really happy with the collection I now have. A mix of colours and favourites.

How do you store your earrings???

  1. I have a love of earrings as well. I finally found something that works for me! I took an old picture frame (glass and backing out) and covered it with fabric that I stapled to the back. I hung it in my closet above a low shelf and I just stick the earrings through the fabric to hang them up. Voila! Works great and keeps them where I can see them. I also get dressed and undressed in the closet, so they are readily accessible!

  2. Ooh, NatureGirl - I love that idea, the stands are gorgeous, but I have no surface for them... I also have ALOT of big chunky bangles that I cannot find a decent storage idea for... any suggestions???

  3. Love that idea Nature Girl and I have seen a few pictures like that on Pinterest. For large bangles one of the best storage ideas I have seen, and this might sound weird, is to get one of those metal toilet holder stands. You can just pile them up on top of each other like toilet paper and it looks really lovely. Except I think it is hard if you want to get a bangle off of the bottom of the pile. N x

  4. That's what I want for Christmas - a jewellery box. At the moment I just have everything shoved in shoeboxes from the last time I moved.

Both great ideas for storing earrings!

  5. I'm always sad when I see people that can wear lots of pairs of earrings ... I can't ... I have to wear either gold or silver .... I can't just go and buy a pair of cheap earrings and wear them .... after about an hour my ears are so sore. Love your earring collection it's gorgeous. So pretty.

  9. I love having my ears pierced and some of my earrings I only wear for a couple of hours while I go out as well so they do not hurt my ears. I just love accessorising with them and setting off an outfit with a little bit of jewellery earring bling! N x

  10. I use an acrylic folding earring rack for most of them - http://bit.ly/tRkm0l. It's practical and takes little space but it's not as pretty as your solution or a picture frame solution. I have a few that don't fit in small pouches.
