It is her first school camp and even though I have sent a couple of other kids off on school camp I am not finding it any easier. So hard when you have no contact with them the whole time they are gone. Sob!
Ohhhhhh... The things I have to look forward to in years to come, and to think I feel daunted enough by our eldest starting one day a week of preschool next year :)
Love the picture! I hope she loves the camp! I myself hated going to camp! Freaked me out being in the middle of nowhere with camping under a plastic sheet or on bunk beds in an old 'haunted' school in outback!
Hi, My name is Naomi and thanks for dropping by to see what we get up to in the Seven Cherubs house. I love being a mum to my seven children and that I can share my parenting ideas and tips here on my blog. I love to write about happiness, depression, family and home life. I look forward to getting to know you better and I hope you enjoy your stay!
"To the women of today, who are old or young, may I suggest that you write, that you keep journals, that you express your thoughts. Writing is a great discipline. It is a tremendous education effort. It will assist you in various ways, and you will bless the lives of many ~ now and in the years to come, as you {share} some of your experiences and musings."
All ready to go. I hope she has some lollies in her bag. I use to love scoffing lollies at school camp with my freinds.
ReplyDeleteIs it her fiorst school camp? How's Mummy doing?
I can hear it from here..."Aw Mum, another photo?"
ReplyDeleteLove how she's rocking the look for camp, I would never have been that stylish at her age.
Happy day to all,
Felicity x

Oh, letting go is hard, even the thought of it. Becoming a mother has really made the concept of "bittersweet" so very tangible.
ReplyDeletei love the expression. Fabulous photos
ReplyDeleteLove the photot!
ReplyDeleteI am not looking forward to school camps... Well I kind of am, because I still remember most of my camps fondly.
Great photo! I think I will be a blubbering mess when my twinlets go to camp for the first time...
ReplyDeleteWhen I take too many photos, my boys start putting on their grumpy faces. She looks good-natured in her exasperation. :-)
ReplyDeletetoo sweet... mum just lets go already :) xx
ReplyDeleteI have yet to have to do the school camp thing, but I get sad with a simple one night sleep over. Gorgeous photo Naomi :) xx
