In the Seven Cherubs house we have been loving the warmer weather now that spring has arrived and have been enjoying some trips to the playground for some family fun. We love all the flowers in bloom and the gorgeous 'purple flowers' in the trees {Jacaradana} all over Brisbane. As a family we have been loving that our smallest cherub, Liberty is growing bigger but also sorrowing over the fact that we have no more babies in our house. We are spending more time in the pool, busy with school activities, planning for Christmas adventures and looking forward to taking some holidays. We are also bracing ourselves to have our first teenager this week and hoping she wakes up as the same girl on her birthday morning! Our family is keeping up with music lessons, sports, church activities and the total chaos that seems to be the theme of our end of year adventures. We are thankful that we are all healthy and well, that we are doing all of this together and that we are making it to the end of each day and waking up ready to take on the next one. The spring time weather and vegetable garden goodness that comes from this time of year is making our days a little happier and easier to survive.
What a wonderful time of year and all in preparation for some Christmas cheer.

Pure joy!

ReplyDeleteWe seem to have skipped the beautiful spring weather! Although today isn't too bad. But it's been high 20s/30 and muggy :( And I love spring - mid-20s, cool breezes, sunny days... *sigh*
ReplyDeleteSounds like bliss, Naomi. We've had a string of wet weather here, but had just enough sunshine and warm weather for Ella's birthday on Saturday, which was lovely! We had a barbecue and cake in the park and the girls loved it!
ReplyDeleteLove love love this time of year!
