A good hair cut and colour can change your life. I love a rockin' hair cut and find it can change how you feel about yourself and give you an extra confidence boost. Finding the time to make a hair appointment is always a challenge of mine and I was happy to give Nice'n Easy a try at home on my own hair. I was delighted with the result. It really did add highlights to my hair and it was so easy to apply. I am yet to need hair colour to cover grey's but I am sure with seven kids I will be needing it in the future! See my result below:

oh I'd love this. we are having to tighten the budget atm and I'm going to have up giving my hair coloured (I know, first world problem but it does really pick me up). I'd really like to try one of these as an alternative: 104 natural medium golden blonde or 103 baby blonde.

ReplyDeleteI would use and have used 121A- prior to this- Black, and alot of it...Ive now gone lighter and tend use more warm brown tones to help hide the greys coming through as they stand out like a child on red cordial in a busy supermarket!
ReplyDeleteI have been pretty much every colour under the sun, from red to blonde to dark brown and black, I love the fact you can change your hair to so many different colours...as they say... A change is as good as a holiday!!
ReplyDeleteI'm only brave enough to use brown/caramel
ReplyDeleteohh sounds good i think i get my hair done once a year ...oh the joys of having children and little time hahah
ReplyDeleteHa! What colour havent I used??? I have been dying my own hair blonde for 20 years using 101 Natural Baby Blonde colour but about 6 months ago decided to go "natural" cos I was sick of the roots and went 121A Natural Dark Brown. Have been black and red at some point inbetween there too ;)
ReplyDeleteI love there colour and there quick and easy.. Iv used dark natural brown, black, mahogany just to name a few! The foam ones are great as well! Been using them for around 10trs now and only get my hair coloured at the salon wen I have the time and $ which is very rare and a treat ;)
ReplyDeleteNot as brave as many here
ReplyDeleteHave only used caramel and browns!
I have used the browns/reds/blacks in the past...when i get the chance!! i am yet to try one with highlights, i would LOVE to try it out...i used to get foils at the hairdresser (before kids) as i love the different tones but settled with one colour and doing it myself :)
ReplyDeleteI have tried everything, both at the hairdressers and more recently on my own at home. With 4 kiddies and the youngest only being 8 months old it is much more effective colouring my own hair. BTW your hair highlights turned out lovely :)
ReplyDeleteHi Naomi,
ReplyDeleteI have just become a follower of your blog via Google Friend Connect. I love your work - keep it up!
Amanda
Great timing - I've been recently looking at Clariol's products. Richer caramel and golden tones for my moussey brown hair.
ReplyDeleteRecently, I've been using Sun-In on my ends and randonly, to get that trendy ombre look. It's just lightened my hair, nothing exciting. Guess winter was the wrong time to try that one out ..
I don't have much grey but a few are creeping through now would love a hair makeover.
ReplyDeleteI soooooo need a color ! With 4 children, this SAHM with a very hard working husband doesn't have time to sit in a hairdressers for hours (even though she'd love too!). Loving your hair color in the photo .... I'll take one of those :)
ReplyDeleteI would love this! I usually colour my hair roughly 3 times per year and normally lighten my already blonde hair to Light Blonde/Very Light Blonde or Nordic Blonde or Ash Blonde (one of the very light blonde shades). I normally use L'Oreal but would love to give this a go!

I have a few greys creeping through and am definately in need of a hair update, would love to try natural baby blonde(101)or have a total change and go for something like ( natural medium brown) 120A. Anything would be nice and a lovely treat. When I was younger I used to dye my hair a lot , mostly blonde shades but rarely dye it these days.
ReplyDeleteOriginally I was a mousy brown
ReplyDeletethen went blonde, then chesnut
then back to blonde again.
then blonde and black
blonde, black and pink
Brown
Black
Blonde
Red
Blonde and black, pink and blue (yep all together)
Red
Red and green (soooo xmasy)
Brown
Black and blue
Now I'd like to try black again :)
I am about 60% grey and my hair grows so so so very fast. I need to colour it every 4 weeks. I am naturally brown, but for hte last few years I was blonde to try to disguise the greys, but visiting the hairdresser every 4 weeks was very costly. I have recently gone back to brown and now colour it myself at home. My choice would be Natural Chestnut Brown. Once I am completely grey I will return to being blonde again. Loving your colour Naomi.
ReplyDeleteI'm not very adventurous with my hair, and tend to stick mostly to different shades of very light brown or blonde.
ReplyDeleteThanks for another practical giveaway!
I did both a coppery red, and a purple-like auburn in high school and college, then I did blue black for 14 years, and now I do ash blonde, but it usually turns out to be warm, golden blonde because of my natural red tones in m hair. I would choose Blonde 100 or Blonde SB2 if I win, thanks.
ReplyDeleteI'm a do it at home virgin, i've only ever had mine coloured at the salon 3 maybe 4 times (All presents from family which i have lined up with special events like friends weddings etc). I've done a base colour which was similar to my original with some blonder highlights, i've gone a little darker with some foil highlights. I really want to go a brown shade though as i'm currently closer to red... although i can see a bright red suiting me too :)
ReplyDeleteI have used the browns, blonde, reds and blacks in the past, now I use browns
ReplyDeleteI used this brand and colour on the weekend, after reading your review and seeing how nice it looks on you :) I can't afford to get my hair done at a salon now, being a SAHM, and was really pleased at the colour/quality. Thanks for the review :)
ReplyDeleteI've been everything from black, brown, red, blonde, pink, blue and everything in between! I love changing the colour of my hair as it is such a simple way to update my look and refresh myself. Its a pick me up when I'm feeling a bit down about my appearance!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea Naomi. I have been debating colouring my hair again after losing a lot of it after having a baby and stress, finally it is growing back! Would love one of these :)
ReplyDeleteIn my twenties I did the blonde streak thing that was in. So many times, in fact, that I ended up almost totally blonde for a time.
ReplyDeleteWhile still young I also experimented with darker browns. But now my hair is "fading" I like to colour it a little lighter than my natural shade.
PS - sorry I just realised you asked what colours I have used in my hair, how long have you got?! Easier listing what I haven't done - fluro colours, green, pink. That's all I can think of atm, end of the day and all :)
