We have been working on a new vegetable garden lately.
Putting in two new large garden beds.
As we consume so much food in our home, I am trying to get back to growing more ourselves.
I love being able to get lunch and dinner from the backyard.
Fresh, healthy and so much cheaper.

As we were putting the frames together we decided to have a little fun taking pictures.
jumping for joy
a bright super girl
running and screaming!

a determined runner!
Never a dull moment around here.
Now back to the vegetable garden...
Thanks so much to Matt for making it just the way I wanted.
Love that guy!
Now to start having fun planting it out with food.
By the way...I have been growing that pineapple for about 2 years now...
hoping I actually see a pineapple very soon!

It looks like it will be fantastic Naomi. Good luck with the pineapples.
ReplyDeleteLove these photos! If your cherubs keep up this level on enthusiasm, you'll have foodie goodness in no time... Looks like you have some good sun too.
ReplyDeleteWe had planted pineapples for years and nothing ...
ReplyDeleteMy brother in law had great success and said to leave the top dry for a few weeks before planting. We have had 2 this year with another ripening and a tiny one coming up. Don't know if it was that or changing their spot. It takes two years before fruit happens. Alan Tibbitts could test your soil for the right ph levels .
We do have good weather at the moment and I am really looking forward to planting it all out but should really get my act together and do it all properly this time. Thanks for the tip about the pineapple Wendy x
