Life with twins for me has been exhausting, mind blowing, incredible, more fun than I could have imagined, heart bursting and absolutely a special blessing in my life. My two boys, Sam and Eli, are both so different and I find myself privately shaking my head at the antics that they get up to and also in the same moment smiling deep inside at just how wonderful they are.
So instead of writing about how life with twins is I thought I would show you pictures of them instead. These pictures I took in the space of 30 seconds. It describes exactly what life with my boys is like:
Understand?

Being a identical twin myself, its a different kind of bond you share to that of your other siblings.... i can understand these pictures completely:)
ReplyDeleteSo glad you can relate and I love that you feel you have a special bond x
DeleteOh yes!! I was wondering how you were going to describe it!!! That is just PERFECT!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I know you know what I am talking about :)
DeleteWhat gorgeous boys you have Naomi! They are adorable and obvisouly share a very special bond that could only be a twin bond.
ReplyDeleteI have twins in my family and have been told that there is a chance I could have twins myself. I am unsure as to how I would react if I did, knowing that a single newborn is at times challenging, twins would double that. But there would also be double the fun, smiles and laughter.
Yes, twice as nice is what I try to say and believe. I did burst into tears when I found out but have loved having twins ever since! N x
DeleteTOTALLY! My boys are a few tears behind these guys, but they are the same- crazy, super close, hilarious, special, naughty, awesome. Twins rock!
ReplyDeletethat was meant to be YEARS behind.. not tears :-)
ReplyDeleteMy wife and I always wanted to have twins... then we had our first daughter and thanked heaven we only had one! Don't know how you do it... Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI have TWO sets of twin sisters! Kudos to my folks for living through it :)
(And while it is tough for parents, it seems like the twin bond is something pretty special).
Gorgeous pictures of your boys sam and eli.
ReplyDeleteAs a twin myself, I love hearing other twin stories or anything related to twins. My sister and I went through an 'identity crisis' in primary school but got over it by high school and realised it was a true blessing in our lives to be twins. We are so alike, yet so different, laugh at exactly the same things and definitely share a bond that is hard to explain or even express- we just get each other.
I always wanted twins as I know how great it is to be one. I bet eli and sam will grow up to be the best of friends... or partners in crime ;)

Oh i adore my twins, girls tend to be quieter & play together calmly, so i just tell anyone who will listen that twins changed my life, i got to become a stay at home mother, forever, they are the most beautiful thing that could ever happen. I found them about as challenging as 1.1 children as babies, twin fed, they even did poo at the same time, it was glorious & now they are 11, they are the most delightful young ladies ever. So lucky to have them in the middle of my children, they are super special. Your boys are too cute for words, love Posie
