beautiful country Australia

Since being home from our holiday, I have been missing the beautiful Australian countryside. Even though it was a long way to travel from Brisbane to Adelaide, in a bus with nine people, I really loved the wide open country side that we are blessed with here in Australia. We have such a unique landscape and when you are travelling you can really appreciate just how gorgeous and special it really is.

One of the hardest parts of our trip for me was trying to take pictures out of our bus window. I found the countryside breathtaking and was constantly asking if we could stop the bus so I could quickly just jump out and snap a picture. I adored the clouds, the sky that stretched on for miles, the dry paddocks with the contrasting flourishing fields and plentiful gum trees that lined the road.
As we often left early in the morning to start travelling we treasured the moments when we were all able to be awake to see the sun rise over the paddocks. It was sweet to be able to share that moment together and to talk about how wonderful it is that the sun rises every day!
What a wonderful country we live in. Even though most of the land we saw was very dry from all of the hot weather we have been having lately, it was still inspiring. Having travelled a little in my time, I always come home and appreciate living in Australia. As we celebrate Australia Day this weekend, I am going to be extra mindful and grateful for this beautiful country that we live in after having the opportunity to drive across so much of it.  Happy Australia Day Weekend!
