THE CHERUBS

Why Cherubs?

A cherub to us is angelic and in our case a beautiful, innocent child. We associate cherubs with chubby, cute children who you just adore. That was the perfect description of all our children.

We also started calling them that because my husband would always say to the kids when they were little: "Come here my little cherub" and give them a big hug and kiss and it just stuck!

So we now have 7 cherubs and I feel so blessed that I get to be their Mum.
I love the things that they are teaching me and the brilliant little people that they are!

I normally spend my time pretending I am super MUM and go around looking like this:

That is because every day I deal with this:

So let's introduce the Cherubs.

Chelsea. This girl is one of the kindest people I know. Always thinking of others and is such a great help to me. I love her giggle and her sweetness. To read about when she cut her hair for the World's Greatest Shave click Here.

Harmony. This girls has such a gorgeous smile, it lights up the whole room. We named her Harmony because we felt by the fourth child we needed some 'harmony' in our home. She is right in the middle of all the kids...3 above her and 3 below her. She loves to dance, draw and sing and we love to watch her enjoying herself.

Liahona. This girl loves to dance is always making up new moves. She is very loving and also has great spunk. She can be a real spit fire and we love it when she gets out of bed on the right side in the morning!

Liberty. Everyone loves Liberty. She is the youngest and just too cute. She is getting a little older and wiser now (at the ripe old age of 4) and knows that she has everyone wrapped around her little finger. This enlightening has made for some interesting power moves lately and Matt and I have had to rethink our strategies with this one. Being the youngest of 7 she sure has learnt a few tricks from her older brothers and sisters. Very observant child and we adore her!

Nathan. This boy is sports crazy. Loves to commentate whilst watching a game or playing a game. I love his enthusiasm, competitive streak and passion. He has a brilliant mind and a great memory. He is generally very private but can really bust a good dance move when no-one is watching. He hates having his picture taken much to my dislike but is getting used to it!

Eli. This is my little man. He only allows me to call him that. Some days he seems like an old man, quiet wise and content. Other days he is out of control and in a crazy mood. He is also my 'hugger'. He loves to come and have a snuggle with me (which of course I love!). He loves to do puzzles and lego.

Sam is a hands on type of boy. Has to touch everything. He loves to fix things and loves tools. He loves to play hard and loves to ride his bike. He makes me laugh, shake my head at the things he gets up to and has a quick mind. Can't believe he has made it to 5 years old!

Sam and Eli are twins and this is what they look like together. I cannot even begin to describe the joy these two boys have given our family and I also cannot begin to describe the lessons they have taught me that I so did not want to learn!

Well, that is all of our Cherubs. Hope you enjoy reading a little about them and reading about the adventures we have. Thanks for dropping by. Naomi x
